I will begin this blog by discussing some upcoming events for myself as well as what to expect from Excursions. It's basically gonna be a running blog about things that I'm involved in i.e. places I'm going, the friends that I hangout with, travel destinations, etc...

Also, I'll interject some of my opinions on things like sports, nightlife, girls, careers, experiences, and random thoughts. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how I can post polls to get feedback from readers, as well as allow others to chime in with discussions. I'm going to have a few "Items of the Week" that I will place in the blog, such as "Hot Spot of the Week" which will feature some lounge/club/bar/restaurant that I want to give my stamp of approval to, or "Bonafide Song/Album of the Week." Things like that.

Anyway, I'm one week away from my roommate Parks's bachelor party in Montreal. The picture above was taken from my first (abbreviated) trip 2 nights before New Years Eve 2006. There will be 8 of us going and we'll be staying right in the heart of Montreal, just a few blocks from Saint Laurent and all the hot issh that the French-Canadiens have to offer. Unfortunately we're looking at temperatures between 15 and 30 degrees, but I'm sure we'll manage.
